Not everyone knows that I used to be a massage therapist with spa focus. 💆♀️ Those of us that stayed with the spa program learned how to make a multitude of items, my favorite to make and use, is cream.
I wax a lot of boards and finally decided to make my own cream. Cream is easier to apply, no tool needed and a little bit goes a long way. I created this cream with organic beeswax, certified food grade mineral oil, organic fractionated coconut oil, and a blend of essential oils to diminish the strong beeswax smell.
It is great for utensils, wood handles, wood bowls, treating butcher block countertops & more!
The more often you apply a very thin layer on your washed & dried board, it builds stronger protection for the wood. You can think of it similar to cast iron skillets, but no cooking involved!
I will release other versions such as All Natural Petroleum Free Cream & All Natural Citrus Cutting Board Cream in a variety of sizes soon.
